A MULTIFUNCTIONAL FRAGRANCE PERFORMANCE ENHANCER AromaBoost 50 is a multifunctional fragrance performance enhancer. Technical panel testing on the underlying raw material evaluated both individual fragrance ingredients and complete perfume compositions. The testing showed an influence on most of the fragrance ingredients evaluated in terms of boosting fixation, or both. Complete perfume compositions were also tested across applications including eau de toilette, hair gel, shampoo, massage oil and cosmetic emulsions. In the testing, boosting referred to an improvement in fragrance intensity after approximately 1 hour, while fixation referred to enhanced fragrance performance over approximately 6 to 24 hours. That makes AromaBoost 50 particularly interesting where a fragrance needs help maintaining its character as it develops after application.
Fragrance materials do not all behave in the same way. Some evaporate more quickly, while others remain noticeable for considerably longer. AromaBoost 50 can help formulators influence the way a fragrance performs throughout that journey. The technical testing found that complete perfume compositions could be both boosted and fixated. In the specific tested formulations, the effect was more noticeable where the perfume had lower substantivity. The testing also demonstrated that, in those formulations, perfume concentration could be reduced when 0.5% of the fragrance enhancing ingredient was incorporated.
AROMABOOST 50 This does not mean that the same result will occur in every formulation. Each fragrance oil and finished product should be tested individually because performance depends on the fragrance composition and the formulation base. That is why we see AromaBoost 50 as a formulation tool, giving manufacturers another way to optimise performance rather than simply increasing fragrance concentration. One ingredient. EASY TO WORK WITH IN ALCOHOL BASED PERFUMERY One of the major advantages for perfume development is AromaBoost 50's excellent compatibility with organic solvents. It is fully soluble in ethanol, making it particularly well suited to alcohol based fragrance development. The documented recommended use range is 0.3% to 1.0%, with the optimum level depending on the formulation and the result being targeted.

ILUMYS® is a Greentech active developed from ginger root, with gingerols forming the key bioactive component. Gingerols are recognised for antioxidant and soothing properties, and the active has been developed specifically around improving the appearance of ageing related pigmentation and uneven complexion. Dual action approach What makes ILUMYS® particularly interesting is its dual action approach.
